Ever since we set up Conservatree in 1993, we’ve done everything we can to protect the environment by minimising the waste we produce and using materials such as recycled and FSC certified paper. We’re always looking for greener ways of doing things – we’ve even added biodegradable lamination to our services!
Woodland Carbon Scheme and CarbonNeutral® paper
We’re involved in a carbon offsetting scheme that gives our clients the opportunity to reduce the carbon footprint of the paper they use. The cost to offset the carbon emissions produced per tonne of paper ranges from £5 to £13. All the money from the scheme goes to a wind power project in India that delivers zero-emissions renewable electricity to the Southern regional grid. Making beautifully printed material more sustainable.
Look for the FSC logo
Over 99% of the paper we use is FSC certified. We’ve also achieved the FSC’s chain of custody accreditation, which means that certified processes and materials are used at every stage of the printing we do – starting in the forests our paper comes from and going right through to the way we store and deliver the end product. If you’d like to show your support for responsible forestry, ask us about including the FSC logo on your print.
