Leading Thames Valley print and design company, Conservatree, has invested in a new Roland SOLJET PRO 4 XR-640 as part of a wider growth initiative. As Roland’s widest, fastest and most powerful print and cut device, the new equipment will enable Conservatree to respond to current growth in large format within the print sector.
The Conservatree team had previously outsourced large format printing, but responding to increased customer demand and a desire to maintain its reputation for highest quality print products, the decision was made to purchase the new flagship Roland model. It will enable Conservatree to enhance its range of print products through features such as an in-built cutter, 7 colour printing and white ink capability.
The Roland SOLJET Pro is part of a wider investment initiative led by the management team, with a focus on finishing products as well as Enfocus Switch, automated workflow software to boost productivity in line with the business’ growth. With growth targets of 25% for YE2017, Conservatree has also brought on a dedicated business development manager, Craig Dougan.
Chris Goslar, Conservatree MD, explains, “We want to deliver best-in-class products for every customer, with every order. The more we can deliver that 360° completed product in-house, the greater control we have over it. That point of difference is what sets us apart from our competitors and ensures our customers always have that trusted, expert print experience. This investment empowers us to deliver that service.”
Conservatree worked with Service Offset Supplies, one of the UK’s leading lithographic and digital printing providers to identify the right print solution for the growing business and source the Roland SOLJET PRO 4 XR-640.
Duncan McDonald, Digital Sales Specialist at Service Offset Supplies comments, “Ambitious businesses like Conservatree understand the importance of investing in the right equipment to drive growth, diversification as well as customer experience. Chris was really clear about what he wanted to achieve through this new model so we knew the Roland would be the best fit for his business. We’re looking forward to seeing how this up-levels Conservatree as an exciting force to be reckoned with in the large format print sector.”
